emily
Hi, I’m Emily! In my free time I love making art, writing, listening to music, exploring nature, and spending time with my loved ones. Coming from a family of eleven kids I gained a passion for childcare early on- my first experiences were when I was just 6 years old, after I began asking to help take care of my little siblings. Since then I’ve worked as a babysitter, nanny, and teacher’s aide. I love working with children because it’s the most fulfilling thing to be able to watch them learn and grow. Their energies and unique perspectives are always refreshing to me!
Fatima
I am Fatima, a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. My interests include research, reading, writing, listening to music, watching TV, and spending time outdoors. I also love spending time with children and often volunteer at Safe Harbor’s domestic violence emergency shelters to watch children for clients. I have been watching children since I was 11 years old through summer camps, tutoring, and volunteering. I have worked with kids from 3 months to teenagers and I love spending time with every age group. My favorite part about working with kids is seeing how differently they view the world, and how unique each child is with their personality, wants, and needs. I aim to provide each family with quality care, and make sure the child and parents are left delighted with my services at the end of the day.
Rylee
Hello! My name is Rylee and I am currently in my junior year at VCU. I am an English major and my goal is to be a teacher for either elementary or middle school. Some things that I enjoy are reading, writing, singing, and being out in nature! Singing has always been an important part of my life and a fun thing for me. I have been in choir since I was in 4th grade and now I have the honor of being in choir at the collegiate level. I have always had a passion for working with children and have loved being able to see the children I watch blossom into their best selves. I have been working with children since the age of 13 and have the most experience in ages 5-15. To me, the most important part of childcare is providing the children with a comfortable, safe environment to promote growth and individuality. Every child deserves to feel included and heard and I will do everything possible to provide that for your child!
